Chernobyl is favoured to win Emmy Award
The annual Emmy Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 22. According to Unibet’s odds, Chernobyl miniseries will become one of the winners.
American-British HBO production about one of the biggest man-made catastrophes in history breaks all the records worldwide. Five-episode miniseries describes the very moment of the disaster and how the emergency services were trying to put down the fire, limiting the nuclear exposure, which in the worst case could’ve killed hundreds of thousands of people around Europe.
Chernobyl received 19 Emmy nominations and is a huge favourite to win a couple of them. According to Unibet’s oddsmakers, historical TV drama must, for sure, win the best miniseries award. Will it actually happen? Let’s find out together.
