VAR crashes a 45-thousand worth betting slip

One English bettor rather won’t remain a supporter of the video assistant referee system. He would have cashed around 50 thousand pounds if not the VAR.
A mysterious tipster, who goes by the name of Ross, invested exactly 25 pence in the betting slip, where he placed five Both Teams to Score in Both Halves bets on a couple of English Premier League fixtures. Guess the odds of this multiple? Over the 185,000 (185,000/1)!!!
Everything went smooth in the first four selections, the only matchup left was between Manchester City and Tottenham. That is where it all got a little tricky.

The luck was on the punter’s side this time as well. The City was leading 2:1 at the half-time. Right after the break, Spurs managed to equalize the game, which separated the bettor and his 50,000 of winnings by just one goal!
The Citizens finally scored a goal in injury time, but the referee saw hand-ball violation and after VAR review cancelled the game-winner. It’s hard to imagine what was going on through the head of the unlucky tipster...
