What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas? Not quite!
Sister, Mart Kreuper, was a principal at St.Jacob Catholic School in Torrance, not far from Los Angeles for more than 29 years and her best friend, sister Lana Chang, who has worked at the same institution as a teacher for 20 years. The nuns’ darkest secret became known to the public.
Routine inspection revealed that for the last 10 years, Kreuper and Chang have defrauded the school budget for around half a million dollars, coming from the charity. Moreover, most of the money was spent on fun in Las Vegas!
When this situation received some publicity, nuns tried to cover the crime but backed into the corner confessed their actions and ask for forgiveness. Authorities say gambling nuns awaiting the punishment.
